Amber Desnomie

My name is Amber Desnomie. I am from Pasqua First Nation.  

I signed up for the radio crash course because I was interested in learning about what I was signing myself up for and liked it a lot. Shannon Avison emailed me asking if I was interested in joining and I thought, why not? I assumed it would help me prepare for the INCA Summer Institute.  

I like to write sometimes and when I am not busy I like to document what is going on in my life or how I feel. Kind of like a journal. I recently found an old journal and found it entertaining to read about what was going on in my life at that time. I also like to take pictures; I have a polaroid camera where I take picture of things that inspire me.  

A person who inspired me to go into journalism is Nancy Drew, I’ve always wanted a sleuthing kit.
