Elijah Brass

Hello. My name is Elijah Brass. I’m from Yellow Quill First Nation, and was born and raised in Regina.

I first joined this crash course to get out of my house and talk to more people, but now that I’m five days into the program, I realise that paying attention to the storytelling aspect is important to me as well. It’s important to me because I’ve been getting into making music, and telling perspectives on your life correctly is a principle in music. I want to have a job where I can express myself and help others along the way, so I’ll probably follow up on music. I think the crash course has helped a lot with this. I’m not interested in journalism or radio, but I’ve learned a lot from each of those subjects so far. What the process is for producing podcasts, the jobs that are needed for the productions, and the amount of team effort you need.
